Blessings Overflow with AMEN Food Pantry

One of the ways we serve our community is through the AMEN Food Pantry As a church that believes in the power of love, compassion, and supporting those in need, we find immense joy in sharing the incredible work being done by AMEN and the Central Texas Food Bank.

Recently, AMEN Food Pantry underwent a relocation to a newly renovated space at 851 S. Reynolds Street, La Grange, TX 78945. This move allows them to continue their mission of providing groceries and food assistance to our neighbors who are facing challenging times. The new location officially opened its doors on Monday, June 29th, welcoming those in need with a drive-thru format.

The conversion of an industrial building into the new home for AMEN Food Pantry has provided over 3,000 square feet of space for food storage and shopping. It also includes a front reception and office area to better serve the needs of their dedicated staff, volunteers, and valued clients. This expansion reflects AMEN's commitment to serving our community better and ensuring that no one goes to bed hungry.

AMEN Food Pantry is a beacon of hope in our community, bringing sustenance and nourishment to those facing challenging circumstances. We are proud to have such an organization that embodies the values of love, empathy, and solidarity. We encourage all our church members and community members to support AMEN in any way they can.

As we reflect on the remarkable work of AMEN Food Pantry, let us remember the words of Matthew 25:35-36, "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me."

Let us continue to shine our light of compassion upon those in need, just as AMEN Food Pantry does every day.
